State Program for Ensuring Cybersecurity of Turkmenistan approved

Turkmenistan approved the State Cybersecurity Program for 2022-2025. Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the corresponding Decree at a meeting of the State Security Council, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television reported.

Signing the document, the Turkmen leader noted that the Law Enforcement Agencies should pay close attention to combating cybercrime and preventing unlawful acts on the Internet and digital systems.

To recap, on September 6, 2019, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Law on Cyber Security, and on September 9 of the same year, the Cyber Security Service was established.
