Start-up works starts at the gas-chemical complex under construction in Ovadandepe

The commissioning of the auxiliary equipment was started by the specialists of the largest gas-chemical enterprise for the production of gasoline from natural gas, being built in Ovadantape of Akhal region. There are tests of a water treatment system, compressed air equipment for instrumentation and others.

The construction of the complex, according to the contract concluded by GC "Turkmengaz" with the consortium of companies "Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd." (Japan) and "Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri Inşaat Sanaıi ve Tiçaret Anonim Şirketi" (Turkey), is carried out at the expense of investments of the Japanese side and the funds of the State Concern.

The new industrial giant for the production of high-quality gasoline - an alternative to petroleum motor fuel - is called upon to make a significant contribution to the economic development of the country.

Equipped with the latest equipment from world manufacturers and technology from the Danish company Haldor Topsøe, the company will annually produce 600,000 tons of high-quality RON-92 gasoline meeting the environmental requirements of the Euro-5 standard.

The complex will provide employment for about 700 people.

Construction work in the new production facility, where 1,785 billion cubic meters of natural gas will be processed annually into high-octane gasoline, are completed in August. Commissioning of the enterprise is planned for December 2018.
