Spanish weightlifter Lidia Valentin Perez is two times world champion

Contests in women’s 81 kg started on the eighth day of the competitions. Our fellow countrywoman Aysoltan Toychiyeva competing in B Group was the third in the clean-and-jerk and in total and the fourth in the snatch.

Leader of the Group Raushan Meshitkhanova (Kazakhstan) put aside the opponents from the strongest A Group on the triumph podium with her 108 kg in the snatch, having taken the second place in the final.

London Olympics champion Lidia Valentin Perez from Spain was the winner in the snatch and in total, the bronze was won by Darya Naumava from the Republic of Belarus.

Stubborn contest was observed in the clean-and-jerk where several sportswomen compete for the champion’s title until the final attempt. However, the gold was won by Darya naumav by additional results. She also was the second in total.

Being silver medallist in the clean-and-jerk, Tamara Salazar from Ecuador won the bronze in total.

Despite the third place in the clean-and-jerk, Spanish weightlifter Lidia Valentin Perez became the world champion by the amount of two disciplines with 249 kg.
