Spanish Business Delegation Arrives in Turkmenistan to Expand Bilateral Cooperation

A high-level business delegation from Spain has arrived in Turkmenistan for a working visit, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.

According to the report, the Spanish delegation includes representatives from 11 Spanish companies such as Ibertest, Nobargi, Typsa, Cesce, Tubacex, Almar Water, Teltronic, and others.

During the visit, the Spanish delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with the leadership of approximately 20 ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.

Additionally, as part of the working visit of the Spanish business delegation, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Kurbanov met with Marcos Gomez Martinez, the Ambassador of Spain to Turkmenistan (based in Moscow).

During the meeting, diplomats discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, expansion of the legal framework, as well as organization of high-level contacts and cultural-humanitarian events. Both sides emphasized that this visit is intended to be another step towards strengthening the trade and economic relations between the two countries
