South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol arrived in Turkmenistan for a two-day official visit, as reported by the official Turkmen media.
Officials welcomed President Yoon at the International Airport of Turkmenistan’s capital.
From the airport, President Yoon proceeded to his designated residence for the visit, the Oguzkent Hotel in the capital.
The visit will include high-level talks between Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Yoon Suk Yeol.
This visit marks the first state visit by a South Korean president to Turkmenistan in the past five years, since 2019.
