Currently, rising agricultural production is a priority of government support. While Turkmenistan has an essential potential to expand poultry production, it depends on high-cost import particularly in poultry feed due to skills deficiencies, and low sophistication of the institutional landscape between the educational institutions and the world of business.

Under the supervision of Senior Non-Key expert Daniel Klee, Turkmen experts will introduce best practice in skills development of poultry feed.Notably, the project’s activities aim to bridge skills supply and demand through creating direct cooperation with chicken producers, developing a manual on poultry feed production and piloting it both at the Agricultural University and the staff of selected chicken producers.More information is available here: Terms of Reference LinkWork PlanExisting Curricula for update Link Lecture on the topic LinkTags: Curricula development, Sector Councils,BackgroundThe EU engagements in Turkmenistan focus on strengthening resilience, increasing prosperity and promoting regional cooperation.
