Six Turkmen schoolchildren won bronze medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad in Khiva

Six Turkmen schoolchildren won bronze medals at the first International Chemistry Olympiad named after Abu Raykhan Beruni in Khiva (Uzbekistan).

According to the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”, tenth graders received bronze medals of the Olympiad: Shatlyk Batyrov, Myahrijemal Gundogdiyeva, Jeren Akmuradova, Adyl Serdarov, Mekan Ahmedov from the Ashgabat Specialized Boarding School named after S. Turkmenbashi and Ogulbayram Berdymuradov from the capital's secondary school № 37.

The national team of Turkmenistan was headed by Serdar Begenjov, a teacher of chemistry at secondary school № 17 of Halach etrap, Lebap velayat.

The Olympiad united over 100 participants from 15 countries of the world.
