Silk growers of Turkmenistan fulfilled their obligations to harvest 2 300 tons of cocoons

The silkworm breeders of Turkmenistan fulfilled the contractual obligations for the harvesting of cocoons. Deputy Prime Minister Annageldi Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, announced this today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Having accepted the information with satisfaction, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that more than 2 300 tons of cocoons were handed over to the Harman of the Motherland as a result of the selfless work of domestic silkworm breeders, the Watan information program of the Turkmen television reported.

Having cordially congratulated the participants of the meeting and the entire Turkmen people on this labor achievement, the President of Turkmenistan wished everyone good health, family well-being and great success in their work.
