President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a resolution on the establishment of Uzbekistan Turkmenistan free trade zone (FTZ) on February 28, 2024, as reported by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

According to the document, the zone will be situated in the Shavat district of the Khorezm region and is intended for the organization of infrastructure for storage, sorting, marketing, and transportation of goods.

The trade zone will offer services related to the reception, storage, and sorting of products using modern technologies.
