Sharing experiences at the interparliamentary level

Representatives of the Mejlis took part in the online roundtable meeting “Challenges and Opportunities in Parliamentary Monitoring and Evaluation”, held by the Inter-Parliamentary Union. The meeting brought together parliamentarians and experts from around the world, representatives of authoritative international structures.

The meeting participants discussed a wide range of issues of increasing the efficiency of work of national parliaments, enhancing their role in society and their contribution to solving urgent problems of our time.

The exchange of views on the role and tasks of inter-parliamentary interaction took place during the meeting.

Highly assessing the prospects for further cooperation, the meeting participants called for the consolidation of efforts with the aim to address the important issues of global development.
