Yesterday, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular session of the State Security Council to consider the results of the work done by the military and law enforcement agencies in January of this year, as well as relevant issues to ensure the security and peace of the Turkmen state, further strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies and improving their activities.
Opening the meeting, the leader of the nation gave the floor to Defense Minister B.Gundogdiyev, who reported on the results of the department’s work for the first month, including the implementation of advanced technologies in various branches of the armed forces, practical steps taken to strengthen the country’s defense capability, creating appropriate conditions for the service and life of soldiers and officers.
Prosecutor General B.Atdaev reported on the activities of the subordinate structure since the beginning of this year on the observance of the rule of law, human rights and freedoms, the introduction of digital systems, improving the professionalism of employees.
There was also a report on the results of inspections undertaken in ministries and departments in accordance with the instructions of the head of Turkmenistan.Having spoken then, the Minister of Internal Affairs O.
Khojanyyazov reported on the results of the work of subordinate units for January 2022, as well as practical steps being implemented to avoid offenses, prevent road accidents, and comply with fire safety requirements at enterprises and institutions in the country’s regions.
Chairman of the Supreme Court G.Ussanepesov reported on the results of the structure’s activities for the designated period, measures taken to organize legal proceedings in accordance with the requirements of the time, as well as to improve the skills of employees.
The Minister of National Security G.Annayev informed on the measures implemented in January to reliably protect the achievements of the independence of the Turkmen state and maintain a favorable socio-political situation.
There was also a report on the conducted work on the active use of advanced technologies in the department’s work.The head of the State Border Service Ya.Nuryev reported on the results of the department’s work for the first month of 2022 and the conditions being created for the service of defenders of the Fatherland, practical steps being taken to equip border compounds with the latest technical means and the introduction of a digital system.
Further, Adalat Minister M.Taganov reported on the results of activities for January of this year, as well as implemented comprehensive measures to prepare proposals for amendments and additions to the regulations in order to improve the current legislation, organized events to explain to citizens the tasks of the adopted legal documents.
Then the Chairman of the State Customs Service M.Khudaikulyev reported on the results of the work esecuted by the department during the period under review, the practical steps taken to re-equip structural units, improve the professionalism of employees.
There was also a report on the consistent implementation of digital technologies for accounting and monitoring foreign economic transactions.Taking into account the growth of foreign economic activity and the increase in the volume of international cargo transportation, it is necessary to ensure a more thorough inspection of products imported into the country, their full compliance with established quality standards.
The issues of ensuring the order of movement of goods and vehicles across the customs border should be kept in the spotlight, head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov continued, instructing the head of the department to exercise strict control over compliance with the rules of relevant procedures.
Chairman of the State Migration Service N.Atagarayev reported on the measures implemented during the designated period to address the priorities facing the department.Then the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch.Amanov reported on the state of affairs in the law enforcement agencies, and their fulfillment of the tasks of military reform since the beginning of this year.
A separate topic of the report was the practical measures taken to actively implement the digital system, study international best practices in this area, strengthen the personnel potential of the National Army, and social security of soldiers and officers.
Addressing the meeting participants, the head of Turkmenistan stressed that, basing on the defensive nature of the Military Doctrine adopted in accordance with a peaceful, humane state policy, the material and technical base of military and law enforcement agencies is being systematically strengthened.
Among the priorities is the solution of social issues, taking care of military personnel and their family members, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country continued.
As noted, a large set of measures is being implemented to further improve social and living conditions, create opportunities for fruitful activity, achieve great success in conscientious service for the benefit of the Motherland.
The state will continue to carry out appropriate work in this direction, the leader of the nation said.The State Security Council session also considered other issues, and made appropriate decisions.
