Serdar Berdimuhamedov will visit Uzbekistan on state visit

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will arrive in Uzbekistan on July 14 on a state visit at the invitation of the Uzbekistan leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reports president.uz.

The heads of the two states will discuss the issues of further development and strengthening of the Turkmen-Uzbek relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership.

The key topics of bilateral negotiations will be the prospects for increasing volume of mutual trade, establishing industrial cooperation, effectively using the transport and transit potential, implementing important projects in the water management sphere, intensifying interregional contacts, and also continuing the program of cultural and humanitarian exchange.

It is supposed that as a result of the two-day visit will be adopted a Joint statement and will be held signed a package of bilateral documents.

Holding a meeting in the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan and visiting sights in Samarkand are also included in the stay program of the President of Turkmenistan.
