Tonight, in Xi'an, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a reception given on behalf of Chinese President Xi Jinping in honor of the heads of state of the countries participating in the Central Asia-China Summit in the Tang Dynasty Park, the Watan information program of the Turkmen television reported.
This park, located in the south of Xi'an, is an imperial landscaping and cultural complex that comprehensively represents the majestic image of the Tang Dynasty, under whose rulers ancient China experienced a rapid flowering and experienced the highest power. The city of Xian, then called Chang'an, was the capital of the Tang Empire.
In the center of the park is Furong Lake with magnificent lotuses, and the park itself is divided into 12 thematic zones that tell about emperors, poetry, folk art, culinary arts, songs, dances and other important manifestations of the culture of the Tang Dynasty.
After a memorable photographing of the heads of state of the countries participating in the summit, a concert was also given here, dedicated to the opening ceremony of the Year of Culture of the Peoples of Central Asia and China and the youth festival of arts "Central Asia-China".
Its program included musical, folklore-ethnographic, dance numbers, lyrical folk songs and modern compositions.The final chord was a composition performed jointly by artists from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, praising the friendship of peoples.
