On January 5 6, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay a state visit the People’s Republic of China, the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China reported today.
The information posted on the official website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry says that this visit of the head of Turkmenistan will take place at the invitation of Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping.
It is expected that following the results of the summit, the parties will sign a package of documents on cooperation.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay a visit to China for the first time after taking office as President of Turkmenistan in March last year. In September of the last year, he conducted bilateral talks with Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Samarkand.
