President Serdar Berdimuhamedov awarded the title “Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan” to the head of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, TDH reports.
The head of state awarded the honorary title to his Turkish colleague “for special services in strengthening the ties of friendship between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, strengthening the unity and cohesion of the two friendly peoples, as well as taking into account the enormous personal contribution of Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the expansion of long-term cooperation between the two states in the political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural fields.
