Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent condolences to the leadership of India

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to the President of the Republic of India, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, in connection with the tragic stampede that occurred at a religious event in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, which led to numerous casualties and injuries.

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, the head of state conveyed words of deep empathy and support at this difficult moment to the families, relatives and friends of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to the victims, TDH reports.

On Tuesday, at least 107 people, mostly women, were killed in a stampede at a religious event in the city of Hathras in northern India's Uttar Pradesh state.
