Turkmenistan intends to strengthen mutually beneficial relations with Arab world states in political and diplomatic, trade and economy, cultural and humanitarian spheres. New elected President of Turkmenistan of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov declared about this today, during the telephone conversation with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, informs the State news agency of Turkmenistan.
The King of Bahrain congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his victory of the presidential election and wished him great success in responsible activities at the highest state post.
Today during the telephone conversation, the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan also congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his election to the highest state post.
During the conversation the new elected President of Turkmenistan underlined, that he intends to continue the course of the country’s current President.In particular, was confirmed the readiness for further activization of interstate relations between Turkmenistan and UAE, the development of new perspective areas of cooperation, initially built on a long-term, mutually beneficial basis.
Let us remind you, that the Deputy Prime Minister for Finance and Economy Affairs Serdar Berdimuhamedov won the extraordinary presidential elections, gaining 72,97% of the vote, held on March 12. The inauguration of the new President of Turkmenistan will be held on March 19.
Earlier, the leaders of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Iran, Azerbaijan and other countries congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his election to the highest state post.
