1. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, approving the “Rules for the sanitary protection of the territory of Turkmenistan”. The document regulates measures to prevent and eliminate infectious and parasitic diseases, as well as to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population and territory of Turkmenistan.
2. Iraq is considering the issue of purchasing gas from Turkmenistan. The possibility of supplying Turkmen and Qatari gas to Iraq was considered at a meeting of the Iraqi government chaired by Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani. Turkmenistan is one of the largest producers and exporters of natural gas in the world.
3. The procedure for admission to study at universities and vocational schools of Turkmenistan in 2023 has been published. The ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia, the ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan, the consul of Turkmenistan to Germany were dismissed, and a new ambassador of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan was appointed.
6. A personal exhibition of the Turkmen sculptor Babasary Annamuradov has opened in Moscow. The exhibition is called “Babasary Annamuradov. Sculpture. Graphics” and presents more than 50 works of the author, made from different materials. The exhibition will run until August 15.

11. The Turkmen football club “Altyn asyr” arrived in Bulgaria for a training camp, where it will prepare for the resumption of the championship of Turkmenistan and the group stage of the AFC Cup. The camp will include several test matches with local teams.
12. FIFA futsal referee Timur Ramazanov and the head of the refereeing corps of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan Vadim Baratov took part in the elite referee seminar of the Asian Football Confederation. The seminar was organized to improve the skills and exchange experience of futsal referees from different Asian countries.
13.Turkmen rally drivers won two medals at the 2023 “Silk Way” rally, which was held from July 6 to 15 in 13 regions of Russia.The crew of the Toylyev brothers in the car of the “Turkmenawtoulaglary” Agency took second place, and the crew of Maksatmyrat Danatarov took third place in the overall standings of the rally.
Turkmen racers also showed good results in certain stages of the race.
14. Two medals were won by Turkmen chess players at the Asian Championship among schoolchildren that started in Tashkent in Tashkent. 330 athletes from 17 countries of the Asian and Australian continents take part in the competition, competing for championship awards in rapid, classical version of the game and blitz in different age categories.
