Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the appointment and dismissal of judges in Turkmenistan and the assignment of qualification classes during a regular meeting of the State Security Council on Wednesday.
According to Turkmenistan's official media, the Head of State instructed Begench Hojamgulyyev, the head of the Supreme Court, to select educated, conscientious, and energetic professionals.
This decree is issued in accordance with Articles 54, 56, 72, and 83 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On the Judiciary."
As per the document, Rahman Hojyyev is appointed as the chairman of the Mary City Court in Mary Province, Ogulnabat Sahetmyradova as a judge of the Bagtyyarlyk District Court in Ashgabat, Illi Annayev as a judge of the Ak Bugday District Court in Ahal Province, Oregeldi Amandjanov as a judge of the Sakarchage District Court in Mary Province, Dovran Altyyev as a judge of the Mary District Court in Mary Province, and Ogulsuray Bayramsahedova as a judge for administrative and executive proceedings of the Berkararlyk District Court in Ashgabat.
President of Turkmenistan also signed a decree appointing Jennet Bayramova as a judge for administrative and executive proceedings of the Tejen District Court in Ahal Province, Merdan Alymov as a judge for administrative and executive proceedings of the Balkanabat City Court in Balkan Province, Enver Bagtyyarov as a judge for administrative and executive proceedings of the Dashoguz City Court in Dashoguz Province Ovezdurdy Atayev as a judge for administrative and executive proceedings of the Darganata District Court in Lebap Province.
Moreover, Gulrovshen Annayeva was relieved of her duties as a judge of the Gorogly District Court in Dashoguz Province due to the expiration of her term, Rozymyrat Hudayberdiyev was relieved of his duties as a judge of the Sakarchage District Court in Mary Province due to the expiration of his term, and Shokhrat Veldjikov was relieved of his duties as a judge for administrative and executive proceedings of the Danev District Court in Lebap Province due to the expiration of his term, Rustam Atajanov was relieved of his duties as a chairman of Mary City Court in Mary Province.
Several judges were assigned the 5th qualification class.
