Sea feeder transportation will be launched along the Turkmenbashi-Baku line

Since January 2023, the “Merchant Sea Fleet” CJSC of Turkmenistan will use the “Balkan” vessel for feeder container transportation along the Turkmenbashi-Baku-Turkmenbashi route, reports Vzglyad.az.

To date, the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi has created all conditions for handling up to 400 000 containers per year.The terminal is equipped with STS type berthing cranes capable of handling up to 15 containers per hour.

Also, for the convenience of container owners, the time of their free storage at the terminal has been increased to 60 days.

It is also noted that international feeder transportation permits for the efficient transportation of basic cargo on regular shipping lines in containers.
