SCRMET Trading: Oil Road Bitumen in High Demand

On Thursday, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) completed transactions for the purchase of BND 60/90 oil road bitumen totaling 25 million manats, as reported by SCRMET.

Business representatives from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and the UAE purchased a desulfurized diesel fraction valued at $1,693,750 during the session.

Traders from Kyrgyzstan completed a deal to purchase cotton fabric worth $68,917.20.

Local entrepreneurs also bought handmade carpets priced at 30,916.416 manats and float glass sheets totaling 3.1 million manats for the domestic market.

SCRMET, established in 1994, serves as the principal regulator of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
