SCRMET Trades: Deals Total 62.6 Million Manats

On Monday, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) reported transactions totaling 62 million 636 thousand 295 Turkmen manats.

For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased cotton lint produced by the State Concern Turkmenpagta.

Business representatives from Afghanistan signed a deal to buy SN-180 base oil produced by the State Concern Türkmennebit for $6 million.

A Turkish entrepreneur acquired viscous petroleum road bitumen for a total of $110 thousand, while an Uzbek entrepreneur purchased hydrotreated diesel fuel for a total of $360,875.

Established in 1994, SCRMET is the primary body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
