Scientists of Turkmenistan and Iran discussed the legacy of Abu Said Abul Khayr

A scientific conference dedicated to the work and heritage of Abu Said Abul Khayr, better known among the people as Myane Baba, was held in Ashgabat. Scientists from two countries Turkmenistan and Iran took part in the forum, reports centralasia.news.

Mirbagherifard Said Aliasghar Said Mahmoud, a teacher of Persian language and literature at the University of Isfahan, spoke at the conference. He emphasized the importance of establishing bilateral cooperation between scientists of the two countries in the field of studying the heritage of Myane Baba.

In his speech, the linguist noted that Iranian universities are conducting a lot of research on the life and work of Myane Baba. In his opinion, scientific exchange between teachers and students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and Iran can contribute to the discovery of new facts from the life of the Sufism sheikh.

In addition, a guest from Iran said that a series of conferences about Myana Baba are planned to be held in the near future. At them it will be possible to discuss in detail the contribution of this thinker to the development of the science of Islamic mysticism.

It is interesting that this is already the second visit to Ashgabat for the Iranian scientist.The first time he visited the Turkmen capital was 23 years ago at a conference dedicated to Muhammad Balkhi.

Mirbagherifard Said noted that the city has changed greatly over the past years.He also thanked the Government of Turkmenistan for its efforts to preserve and study the historical and cultural heritage, which is of great interest to researchers around the world.
