Recently, within the framework of the curriculum of the Scientific and Methodology Center for Sustainable Development Goals at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for the 2020-2021 academic year, the start of the next stage of events was determined, which will be held in the form of optional classes at the Ashgabat School of Training Young Olympians.

The classes will be coordinated by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan.

Particular emphasis was placed on the following Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 3 Good health and Wellbeing, Goal 4 Quality Education, Goal 6 Clean Water and Sanitation, and Goal 13 Climate Action.

These goals will be promoted by representatives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Education, the Institute of the Caspian Sea and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan.

The fact of such integration of international treaties into the country’s domestic policy proves the great work has done to educate the younger generation for the modern challenges and trends in the world, and the recognition by Turkmenistan of the importance of the SDG principles along with the role of youth in this matter, as well as the need for the country to achieve sustainable growth.
