Sandstorm hits Egypt

A sandstorm hit northern Egypt. Cairo and several other cities in the north of the country were under the hurricane wind khamsin.

According to mir24, the speed of hurricane winds reaches 50-70 kilometers per hour, and visibility on the roads has decreased to 300 meters.At the same time, the air temperature reached anomalous values for this time of year, rising to +30 Celsius, and the surfaces are instantly covered with red sand, making it difficult to breathe.

Residents are advised to stay in their homes and not go outside unless absolutely necessary.
