Actor Ryan Reynolds announced on his social media page that filming for Deadpool 3 has completed. He thanked everyone who worked on the project for their hard work and resilience, and also noted that it was a unique experience for him, because he was working with friends. Film.ru reports this.
Filming was suspended in July 2023 due to a SAG strike. The process resumed in the fall of the same year.
In Deadpool 3, Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as the mercenary Deadpool. The film will also feature Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin and Jennifer Garner as Elektra.
The film is scheduled to premiere on July 26, 2024. The R rating (not suitable for children), which was typical for previous installments of the franchise, will remain for the third film.
