The Russian company Engineering Service-Putmash, specializing in railway infrastructure, intends to open a joint venture in Turkmenistan, announced the company's General Director, Yegor Lukyanov, as reported by the news agency RZD-Partner.RU on Tuesday.
"We are participating in the exhibition in Turkmenistan for the first time and hope to develop a long-term partnership, including the establishment of a joint venture," Lukyanov noted during the conference International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development 2024, held on November 26-27 in Ashgabat.
He affirmed that the company is prepared to offer Ashgabat a full range of services for railway infrastructure maintenance, including the restoration and modernization of track machinery. “We have already held negotiations and observed track machines here, so we are ready to provide a comprehensive range of lifecycle maintenance services,” he added.
Lukyanov also announced that the company will soon open a representative office in Turkmenistan, noting that a plan for further development in the local market has already been developed.
Earlier, the Russian healthcare network RZD-Medicine expressed its readiness to design and build a mobile medical complex based on a train for Turkmenistan.
