Russia allowed entry of foreign students from 25 countries

The Russian government has allowed foreign students from 25 countries to return to full-time education.

This is reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, reports RBK.

The report notes that citizens of countries recognized by Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights) as having safe epidemiological conditions can come to Russia to continue their studies.

The list of states whose students can return is compiled and updated by Rospotrebnadzor Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights), now it includes: Abkhazia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Armenia, Greece, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Maldives, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Seychelles, Cuba, Serbia, Tanzania, Singapore, Finland, Turkey, Switzerland, Ethiopia, Republic of Korea, Japan, South Ossetia.

In mid-February, Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights) announced that countries that had resumed flights with Russia could return to Russia to continue their full-time studies.

Foreign students of Russian universities must notify them by e-mail of their arrival at least ten days in advance. Then they will have to undergo a PCR test twice: three days before entering Russia and after entering the country.

Until the results of the second test are known, international students must self-isolate and study online.
