A Christmas concert was conducted at the Turkmen Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli with the participation of the pianist from Germany Rozvita Lomer and the ensemble of violinists "Mukam" at the National Conservatory under the leadership of People's Artist of Turkmenistan Harold Neymark.
The joint initiative of the Ministry of Culture and the German Embassy to organize Christmas concerts has become a good tradition.
"Christmas is our favorite holiday in our homeland," said Margret Hubber German Ambassador in Turkmenistan opening the evening. - Its indispensable attributes are beautiful music and gifts that bring to life New Year atmosphere of miracles. The well-known pianist Rozvita Lomer in Germany and in many countries of the world opened the concert program with "Children's Scenes" by Robert Schumann. Schumann's musical tales of various stories that happened on the night of Christmas, in her performance, were marked by a mild and spontaneous nature.
Rozvita Lomer received musical education in the higher musical educational institutions of Munich, Hamburg, Cologne. She visited more than 40 countries around the world with performances that were accompanied by permanent success.
She touchingly performed the Sonata of Ludwig van Beethoven. The music felt fresh, as during a light snowfall, reinforcing the festive mood.
Here on the stage the participants of the ensemble of violinists "Mukam". In their heartfelt and original performance of Nury Halmamedov’s suite sounded music from the ballet "The Decisive Step".
Together with the German pianist, the participants of the ensemble of violinists masterfully performed the Concerto for piano by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, provoking a flurry of audience applause.
"This Mozart Concert was for the first time performed with the accompaniment of violinists," said the head of the orchestra Harold Neymark. - We had to redo the score for this purposes, and try not to spoil the original.
I have been leading the ensemble of violinists for 43 years and always learned my students: when you play yourself, you are the master of your performance, and when you accompany - your performance should coincide with the nature of the sound of the solo instrument.
Turkmen Singer Nafisa Yuldasheva, accompanied by Rozvita Lomer and the ensemble of violinists, sang Franz Gruber's song "Quiet Christmas Eve".
The concert ended, but the audience did not let go the pianist for a long time, and then Rosvita performed an encore Frederic Chopin's Etude.
Each participant of the ensemble of violinists received a Christmas gift from the Germany Embassy.
"I am happy to meet with Ashgabat music lovers," Rozvita said in a conversation. "I went on tour with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, now I have discovered hospitable Turkmenistan, met its beautiful white marble capital and hospitable people. I really liked the young musicians of the ensemble of violinists, their talent and performing skills cause admiration.
