The Portuguese Football Federation announced the appointment of Roberto Martinez as the head coach of the national team, LiveResult.RU reports.

The 49-years-old Spanish specialist headed the national team of Belgium from 2016 to 2022. He left his former position after an unsuccessful performance at the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, where the national team of Belgium didn’t manage to get out the group.
