In connection with the end of the contracts, Manas Karipov, Vladislav Prilepa, Nika Sitchinava and Abdulaziz Yusupov left the club from Osh. In addition, Bektur Kochkanbaev was leased to the “OshMU-Aldier” team.
In the current draw of the championship of Kyrgyzstan on football among the teams of the Premier League, “Alai” takes the second place, and also fights with “Abdysh-Ata” for reaching the final of the Cup of the country.
Let us remind that “Alai” will be the rival of “Merv” at the stage of the preliminary round of the AFC Cup-2023/24. This meeting will be held on August 15 in Turkmenistan.
The winner of the match “Merv” “Alai” will meet on August 22 with the bronze medalist of the championship of Tajikistan “Khujand” at the playoff stage of the AFC Cup-2023/24.
The AFC Cup Preliminary Round and Playoffs will consist of one game.
In case of success at the preliminary stage and in the playoffs of the AFC Cup, “Merv” will receive the right to play in the group stage of the tournament in the Central zone, along with the clubs “Altyn asyr” (Turkmenistan), “Ravshan” (Tajikistan) and “Abdysh-Ata” (Kyrgyzstan).
