Earlier, we reported that in Turkmenistan, in the city of Dashoguz, the Festival of Friendship between the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples was held for two days, which brought together musical and theater groups, cultural and art workers, writers and poets of the two states.
Risolat Haidarova, Chief Specialist of the Department of International Relations and Literary Translation of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, shared her impressions of the creative forum in her interview with the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
-Participation in the Festival of Friendship between the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples, organized at a high level, has become an unforgettable event for me. Hospitality, the joy of communication, common interests - all this inspires, makes you look at your work in a new way.
We really liked Dashoguz. In this beautiful city, wide streets and avenues, architectural complexes and buildings of national color, including the majestic seven-story building of the Daşoguz hotel, Ruhyet Palace, and the State Music and Drama Theater attract attention.
We brought many books to this festival, which tell about the great interest of a wide readership in the work of classical poets Alisher Navoi and Magtymguly Fragi, whose works have been translated into many languages of the peoples of the world.
The monographs reveal the features of the creative work of talented Uzbek and Turkmen poets, including the masters of the artistic word Azadi, Shabende, Mollanepes.
