Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the XXXV meeting of the Advisory Board on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the population of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which was held on November 3 in Yerevan.
As the press-service of the CIS Executive Committee reports, the meeting was also attended by the representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, IPA CIS, Regional Alliance of Labor Inspection of CIS member states and Mongolia, EEC, General Confederation of Trade Unions, Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS, core organizations, Coordinating Council of the International Union “Commonwealth of Public Organizations of Veterans (Pensioners) of Independent States”, and There is also a delegation of the CIS Executive Committee headed by Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee Beketzhan Jumahanov.
The participants of the meeting summed up the results of their work for the recent years.The exchange of information on social and labor situations in their states and measures taken in this area was conducted, the implementation of action plans for the implementation of the Concept of Coordinated Social and Demographic Policy for 2020-2023 and the first stage of the CIS Economic Development Strategy for the period up to 2030 were discussed.
Moreover, were discussed the issues related to the legalization of platform employment, the involvement of youth in the active employment measures, the organization of labor mobility and rational settling of population, inventory and updating of the regulatory framework for cooperation in the field of social protection, labor relations, social partnership.
