Representatives of Turkmenistan participate in human rights courses in Gwangju

Representatives of Turkmenistan participate in training in the field of human rights management.

The course is being conducted in the South Korean city of Gwangju in collaboration with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights (RWI), reports IIC.

Course participants study modules such as the history and basic concepts of human rights, human rights and public administration, human rights issues and human rights management. Tours of local historical sites and cultural events are also available for participants.

In addition, participants will visit Gwangju City Hall to learn about the city administration's human rights affairs and meet with the director of the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Peace, the source notes.
