Gurbangeldyev, rector of the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan G.Mezilov, student of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan G.Geldyeva, student of the Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan named after Oguz han M.
Arazmedov.
During the visit, representatives of universities met with the Chairman of the Japanese Nippon Foundation, Yohei Sasakawa, and his staff, according to the IIR website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, Rector J. Gurbangeldyev introduced the Japanese side to the work of the Institute and gave examples of the dynamics of successful cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in all areas. J. Gurbangeldyev also addressed the Japanese side with his proposals for the development of international cooperation in the field of education.
Yohei Sasakawa asked Turkmen students about their impressions of Tokyo. The Japanese side announced that in the future it plans to donate Read Japan books to higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
Among the gifts that the Turkmen delegation presented to the chairman of the Nippon Foundation were a Turkmen carpet, books by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, videos in Japanese and English prepared by students of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
After the meeting, a trip to the Miraikan National Museum of Advanced Science and Innovation, located on the island of Odaiba, was organized for Turkmen students.The trip was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan.
At the museum, Turkmen students were especially pleased to see a photograph of the Hero of Turkmenistan Oleg Kononenko in the “International Space Station” pavilion.
