With a view of implementing the National program to reform social and living conditions of residents in villages, etrap cities and etrap centres for the period of up to 2020 on 13 April, 2018 President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov appointed the following supervisors responsible for the provinces of Turkmenistan and the capital:
Akhal velayat Deputy Chairperson of Cabinet of Ministers Chary Gylydzhov;
Balkan velayat Deputy Chairperson of Cabinet of Ministers Mammetkhan Chakyev;
Dashoguz velayat Deputy Chairperson of Cabinet of Ministers Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev;
Lebap velayat— Deputy Chairperson of Cabinet of Ministers Kerim Durdymyradov;
Mary velayat— Deputy Chairperson of Cabinet of Ministers Myratgeldi Meredov;
the city of Ashgabat— Deputy Chairperson of Cabinet of Ministers Dadebai Amangeldiev.
The President had previously appointed regional supervisors in January, May and September 2017.
