Referee team from Poland will officiate the Champions League final between “Inter” and “Man City”

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has appointed Poland's Szymon Marciniak as the referee for the 2022/2023 Champions League final match in Istanbul between “Inter” and “Manchester City”, reports the UEFA press service.

The meeting will be held on June 10 at the Ataturk Olympic stadium and will begin at 23:55 Ashgabat time.

Marciniak's assistants will be Pavel Sokolnitsky and Tomasz Listkevich, the VAR referee will be Tomasz Kwiatkowski. The fourth referee will be Istvan Kovacs from Romania, AVAR - Bartosz Frankowski, Marco Fritz (Germany).

The live broadcast of the final will be shown by the “Match TV” channel.

Let us note that Szymon Marciniak for the first time in his career will work at the final match of the Champions League. Last December, he was the referee for the World Cup final in Qatar.

Let us remind that in the semi-finals of the Champions League “Inter” passed “Milan”, and “Manchester City” was stronger than “Real”.
