Rare edition of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" up for auction

A very rare edition of the first Harry Potter book signed by J.K. Rowling has been put up for auction in the UK, report "Argumenty i Fakty" with reference to The Telegraph. The auction will be in September in the city of Hanson.

A special edition of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was released by Bloomsbury in 2012, on the 15th anniversary of the publication of the first Harry Potter volume.

The book is expected to sell for between 8 thousand and 12 thousand pounds.The total number of commemorative copies is only 15 pieces, and none of them went on sale.

The current owner of the book won it in 2012 as a teenager in a competition for being the UK's biggest Harry Potter fan. The book miraculously survived a fire in its owner's house and is in perfect condition.
