The ninth and final stage of the 2023 Silk Way Rally was one of the most challenging and exciting of the entire race. The participants had to overcome 117 kilometers of the special stage along roads and fords washed out by rain in the vicinity of Magnitogorsk, and then reach the finish line on Red Square in Moscow.
Anton Melnikov from the Podmoskovye team won the T2 serial SUV category. The second and third places in these standings went to the Turkmen racers - Merdan Toylyev and Maksatmyrat Danatarov.
Turkmen racers competed on specially prepared Nissan Patrol SUVs, which are equipped with powerful engines, reliable suspension and modern security systems. They demonstrated high speed, driving skills and the ability to overcome difficulties on the route.
The success of the team of the Federation of Automobile Sports will be an incentive for the development of motorsport in Turkmenistan and increase interest in this sport among young people.
The Silk Way Rally 2023 has become one of the largest and most prestigious motorsport competitions in the world, in which more than 100 crews from 30 countries participated, covering more than 10 thousand kilometers across various landscapes and climatic zones of Russia.
