Racers from Turkmenistan take part in the international rally-raid "Silk Way"-2023

Turkmen racers take part in the 13th edition of the international rally-raid "Silk Way"-2023, which started on Thursday in Kazan, "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" reports.

Merdan Toylyev, Shohrat Toylyev, Maksatmyrat Danatarov, Didar Orazmedov, Begench Annaev, Mukhametmyrat Gurbanov (Nissan Patrol), Suleyman Annamammedov, Parahat Garlyev (Toyota LC 200) speak on behalf of the Automobile Sports Federation of Turkmenistan.

The route of the race runs through the territory of 13 regions of Russia. Participants will have to cover more than 5 000 kilometers of distance, and then finish on July 15 at the walls of the Moscow Kremlin.

“We did everything to make the race memorable for the participants for a lifetime. There will be a large number of non-standard solutions,” said Vladimir Chagin, head of the Silk Way Rally, seven-time winner of the Dakar Rally.

In total, the start of the Silk Way Rally in 2023 was attended by representatives of 23 countries. The 13th edition of the Silk Way International Rally will be a new step in the development of the largest project of rally raid competitions in Eurasia.
