Qatari Businesses Invited to Invest in Turkmen Energy, Food, Textile

Director of Trade House enterprise under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Serdar Kepbanov met in Qatar’s capital Doha with Director of Administrative and Finance Affairs of Qatar Chamber Hussian Yusef Al Abdulghani. During the discussions, Kepbanov invited Qatari investors to to explore potential opportunities in Turkmenistan, particularly in the energy, food, and textiles sectors.

The talks primarily focused on strategies for enhancing trade and industrial cooperation, encouraging entrepreneurs from both nations to form alliances and partnerships, and promoting investment climates and opportunities in both countries, Qatar Chamber said on Tuesday.

Hussian Yusef Al Abdulghani emphasized the significant role played by the two chambers in strengthening cooperation through organizing events that bring together businesspeople from both sides. The purpose of such events is to explore cooperation prospects, establish partnerships, and enhance investment climates and opportunities in both countries.

The Director of Trade House enterprise reaffirmed the interest of Turkmen businesspeople in exploring investment opportunities within the Qatari market and establishing partnership relations with Qatari counterparts. He also highlighted that mutual visits would contribute to increasing the trade volume between the two countries.

In July this year, Qatar Chamber (QC) board member Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Obaidly called for the establishment of a Qatari-Turkmen Business Council to boost economic ties between the two countries.
