By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, for his great contribution to the rapprochement and mutual enrichment of the cultures of the peoples of Russia and Turkmenistan, the artistic director of the children's violin ensemble “Mukam” Harold Neimark was awarded the Pushkin medal.
The solemn award ceremony was held on the stage of the National Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly.
The honorary award to the teacher of the highest category, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Harold Issakovich Neimark was presented by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Ashgabat Alexander Blokhin.
In turn, the brilliant teacher thanked the President of Russia, noting that he is experiencing a moment that will be remembered for a lifetime.
The Pushkin Medal is a state award of the Russian Federation, which is awarded to citizens of Russia and foreign countries for merits in the field of art and education, and also the strengthening of cultural ties. Medal was established in 1999.
It should be noted that the permanent artistic director of the children's ensemble of violinists “Mukam” of the Specialized Music Boarding School at the Turkmen National Conservatory Harold Neimark was also awarded the Order of Turkmenistan “For Love for the Fatherland”.
