Pupils of Döwletliler Köşgi in Ashgabat completed ICT courses

Pupils of the Döwletliler Köşgi (Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Orphan Palace) in Ashgabat, as well as the orphanage in the city of Balkanabat, received training in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) from April 22 to May 11.

The training, which allows children to acquire skills useful for their future profession, was organized by UNICEF in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. A total of 32 pupils (boys and girls) were trained.

This initiative underscores the country's commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of circumstances, has access to the skills and knowledge needed to interact in the digital world.

The curriculum not only equips students with technical knowledge, but also develops important social skills such as communication, teamwork and problem solving that are important to their development and success in their professional lives.
