Production of Soft Drinks in Turkmenistan Increases by 28%

Production of mineral waters and soft drinks in Turkmenistan in the first six months of this year increased by 28% compared to the same period in 2020, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) reported on Friday with reference to the country’s State Statistics Committee.

According to statistics, the production of a wide range of dairy products during the period increased by 13.1%.

The country's enterprises also increased the production of confectionery products by 10.8%, and sausages by 7.2%.

In the first half of 2021, the production of processed fish products and canned fish in Turkmenistan increased by 44.4% compared to the same period last year.
