“Chronicles of Turkmenistan” continues to monitor price fluctuations for medications in Turkmenistan.
Over the course of the past three months prices for many medications went down by 6%. However, the prices for some pharmaceuticals have remained the same or are even increasing.
Comparing January prices with those recorded in mid July, it can be stated that medications saw a price decrease of 1,2% against the start of the year.
Below are price fluctuations for select medications over the past three months:
Gerbion (plaintan syrup, 150 mg) a drop from 54 to 50 manats (-7,4%).
Fluconazol (a 150 mg сapsule) a drop from 5 to 3 manats (-40%).
Trimol (locally produced, 10 pills) a drop from 6,6 to 4,5 manats (-31%).
Lidocaine (10 ampoules) a decrease 20 to13 manats (-35%).
Sigmaderm cream(10 g) an increase from 16 to 23 manats (+44%).
Viferon-3 (1.000.000 ME) a decrease from 304 to 180 manats (-40.8%).
Analgin (10 ampoules) are still sold at 20 manats.
Naklofen (solution for injections, 5 ampoules) an increase from 42 to 45 manats (+7%).
Tetracycline ointment 1% (3 grams) a decrease from 23 to 7 manats (-70%).
Dimedrol (10 ampoules) still costs 20 manats.
Panangin (50 pills) an increase from 72 to 75 manats (+4%).
No-Spa (25 ampoules) an increase from 150 to 175 manats (+16.6%).
Abaktal (400 mg, 10 pills) an increase from 67 to 74 manats (+10.5%).
Synthomycin (10%, 25 g) an increase from 30 to 38 manats (+26.7%).
Predizin (35mg, 60 pills) an increase from 120 to 175 manats (+46%).
Oftalmoferon(eye drops, 10ml) a decrease from 187 to 180 manats (-3.8%).
Cuca (ointment, 20 g) a drop from 26 to 25 manats (-3.5%).
Hexoral (spray 0,02%, 40 ml) an increase from 56 to 104 manats (+85.7%).
Mildronate (60 pills) still costs 255 manats.
Aciclostad (pills, 200 mg/pc) are still sold at 5,2 manats.
