President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is participating as an honored guest at the 16th BRICS Summit, held in an expanded format on Thursday in Kazan.
During the summit, the president is actively engaging in discussions on key issues related to economic cooperation and security among the member countries, according to official Turkmen media.
The plenary session of the summit, organized in the “Outreach”/“BRICS Plus” format, includes leaders from CIS countries, delegations from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, as well as heads of several international organizations.
On the third day of the summit in Kazan, the participating leaders continue to address pressing global issues. The discussions are centered on economic cooperation, sustainable development, and enhancing security. Participants are holding negotiations aimed at deepening mutually beneficial partnerships and developing joint initiatives.
Founded in 2006, BRICS has become one of the most authoritative and influential global structures, basing its cooperation on the principles of sovereign equality, mutual consideration of interests, openness, and consensus, making it attractive to other nations.
