President of Turkmenistan Meets Chair of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Pia Kauma, Chair of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, on Wednesday in Ashgabat, as reported by official media of Turkmenistan.

Pia Kauma, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the second conference titled Parliamentary Diplomacy in the OSCE Space, expressed gratitude for the meeting and emphasized the importance of cooperation with Turkmenistan, known for its neutral stance.

The two sides discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation. President Berdimuhamedov noted that the upcoming conference would create favorable conditions for strengthening partnerships between Turkmenistan and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

They also discussed promising areas for collaboration, including economic development, reliable transit of energy resources, environmental protection, and the rational use of water resources.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to further expand cooperation with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and wished Pia Kauma success in her work and good health.
