The President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a meeting of the State Security Council on Wednesday, where he signed a decree appointing and dismissing judges in Turkmenistan and assigning their qualification classes, according to the official media of Turkmenistan.
In accordance with Turkmenistan's law on the judiciary, Dayanch Ovvadov will serve as the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan, having previously led the Lebap Regional Court.
Gurbanguly Akmyradov will take on the role of judge at the Turkmenistan Arbitration Court, stepping down from his position as Chairman of the Balkan Regional Court.Ayly Meretnyyazov will become the Chairman of the Lebap Regional Court, replacing the outgoing Chairman of the Akbugday District Court in the Ahal Region.
Other appointments include Rahman Hojiyev, who will assume the position of Chairman of the Mary Regional Court after serving as Chairman of the Mary City Court, and Seyitjan Yanybayev will be appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Dashoguz Regional Court, and will relieved of his position as a judge at the Sarahs District Court in the Ahal Region.
Amandeldi Allaberenov will take over as Chairman of the Kopetdag District Court in Ashgabat, succeeding the Deputy Chairman of the Ashgabat City Court.
Additionally, Remezan Hanov will join the Mary City Court as a judge, replacing his previous role in administrative and enforcement proceedings at the Turkmenabat City Court in the Lebap Region.
Hurma Hallyeva will serve as a judge for administrative and enforcement matters at the Akbugday District Court in the Ahal Region, receiving a 5th qualification class.Hijran Shukurov will also take a similar position in the Mary District Court of the Mary Region with the same classification.
During the meeting of the State Security Council, attendees reviewed the activities of the military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan over the past ten months.
