The progress of agricultural works in the regions of Turkmenistan was reviewed during the working video conference which was held on Monday by the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the heads of local administrations and the Vice Premier overseeing agriculture complex, Annageldi Yazmyradov, reported the news program “Watan” of the Turkmen television.
Having listened those giving speeches, the head of state underlined the importance of proper organization of the sowing of wheat, which is scheduled to begin on September 2 of this year, and instructed to exercise strict control over the preparation of land for sowing, providing farmers with high-quality seeds and mineral fertilizers, the readiness of inventory and agricultural machinery.
The President of the country noted the necessity of care of cotton fields in agrotechnical terms and control over the conduct of these works.

As per his words, for getting rich harvests of late potatoes and other horticultural crops it is necessary to increase the quality of their maintenance.
The Head of State instructed to pay special attention to the construction of social and industrial facilities in the region, the opening of which is scheduled for September, on the eve of the celebration of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that all events dedicated to the start of the new academic year including the opening of the schools and kinder gardens must be conducted on the highest level and in a festive environment.
