On 12 November, in the course of the video conference President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov charged Minister of Culture Atageldi Shamyradovwith the task of for spreading culture among the residents, in particular, encouraging the Turkmen residents to visit cinema, museums and libraries.
For this, as viewed by the President, marketing tools need to be utilized and the information environment needs to be developed.
The state information agency TDH reports that President Berdymukhammedov gave instructions to the Minister to stimulate the interest of Turkmen residents to cultural centres and urge them to participate in culrtural and entertainment events.
Let us recall that on 9 November, after visiting the state library the President who has authored over 40 books, proposed to declare one of the weekdays the Library Day in Turkmenistan.
It is worthy of note that in the course of the meeting many ministers who had been summoned at the video conference had the books authored by the head of the state laid out in the background.
